BURNED – International Streaming Premiere
March 18, 2019 @ 12:00 am
BURNED (30 minute version) will have its international streaming and broadcast premiere on Link TV, a progressive satellite television network in the week of March 18. The film will be available for free streaming starting on March 18 and will be broadcast via satellite on Direct TV and Dish Network on March 20 (prime time) and March 21 (midday). The premiere is timed to coincide with the International Biomass Conference and Expo, March 18-20, and the UN International Day of Forests on March 21. Broadcast times will be coming soon.
The international premiere is being promoted by US and international environmental organizations as part of the BURNED Barnstorming Tour, a grassroots campaign to expose the biomass electric power industry’s destructive forest, energy, and climate practices. Environmental group partners that are participating include Dogwood Alliance, Partnership for Policy Integrity, Biofuelwatch, Southern Environmental Law Center, John Muir Project, Center for Biological Diversity, Global Forest Coalition, Greenpeace, Natural Resources Defence Council, Sierra Club, Ecology Action Centre, RESTORE, and the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation.
